No Gi / Submission Grappling
This class differs from the Judo /Jujutsu class in that no uniform is used.
No Gi / Submission Grappling
Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Students should wear rash guards or long sleeve t-shirts and grappling shorts or gi pants. No tank tops will be allowed.
• Students will learn throws and ground work (pins, chocks, and
strikes) — submissions are done with body holds
• Students will learn beginning through advanced submission
techniques from Judo, wrestling, Sambo and Jujutsu
• Students will work from the guard, mount advantage, positioning,
sprawls, joint-locks, chokes, throws and takedowns
These essential techniques are taught with and without a Gi. This is a
Co-Ed class.
Hayashi’s Martial Arts Academy aims to mold serious martial artists and develop good character. Our Dojo recognizes and fosters these ideals, which are positive for the elevation of the arts.
All of our instructors are adults who have at least 15 years of martial arts experience and are certified under the Zen-Bujutsukan Federation. Additionally, each instructor has competition experience ranging from regional to international.
