Judo
The Way of Gentleness
Judo is a grappling art based on unarmed combat techniques. The main idea behind Judo is the mechanical method of using an opponent’s force to convert an attack into defeat by submission.
Hayashi’s Martial Arts Academy has the only school in El Paso Texas that teaches real competition Judo combined with combat techniques of Jujutsu. Judo has been an Olympic Sport since 1964. Hayashi’s Martial Arts Academy has produced several winning competition teams throughout the Southwest and the greater part of Texas.
